It is not as heavy as some of the others, but it is still heavy. However, it did the job and took about 20 minutes to do each side. Our old beast is very loud.

Not cheap but overall a good product. 5. All it needs is to unscrew the big plastic knob and then extend it. It was around £100 less than the next choice, the two batteries were the clincher.

The strap needed loosening to fit me, when my head and arm were pushed through the loop. Putting the strap on that loop meant that it is now balanced on the strap and, when I extended it, the weight was in the right place whereas before, it made it a lot heavier. I purchased an extra battery which I think is a good thing to do as the second battery was fully charged when it came to doing the second half of the hedge.

There is a sprung domed button which will pop out through the small location hole when it’s been pushed in properly. Yes if your reasonably fit and able, I just hope that the batteries will last a few years, the hedge was cut on one charge and still able to cut my neighbours hedge also ! Being right-handed, it was more comfortable to operate the switch with my left hand.

At my mid seventies age, two batteries last for as much as I have the energy to cut, so it’s a natural limiter. I didn't think a battery trimmer would cut as easy as this one . 4.

Before I bought this last week, cutting our large variety of hedges, bushes and undergrowth need the services of our old mains hedge trimmer. The cutter is certainly quite heavy when using it on the extension to cut the top of the hedge, and I certainly had to stop now and again. 3.
